Lemurs are primates as so their relatives are monkeys, apes and us.
Lemurs live on the island of madagascar, in the forests and the bush in the south. They used to live in Africa but sadly are extinced there. There are about 50 speices which 17 of them are on the endangerd speices list. 
The most common is the ring tailed lemur as it is kept in captivity. Ringtailed lemurs are crazy creatures who love to ambush, fight and prank each other. They simply love to have fun.
